Perched on craggy sandstone cliffs high above the ocean, you’ll encounter formal gardens and a view of a secluded ocean cove, as well as rugged seascapes, furious storm waves, and migrating whales from December through June.
Used for centuries by Native Americans, this scenic headland juts out into the Pacific Ocean. Modern visitors can scan the horizon for migrating whales and other marine mammals, as well as fishing boats and ships entering and leaving Coos Bay.
